About You:

You are a natural people person who cares about solving customer’s problems and is comfortable with consultative and solutions-based selling.  You are excited by the prospect of using new solutions and technologies to solve customer’s problems.  You are a strong prospector and are comfortable selling via email, telephone, and web.  You can sell to executives, excel at cultivating long-term relationships, and have a strong network of past customers in Tennis, Sports, and Country Clubs.

You are creative, innovative, and have a positive mindset.  You are a fast learner, think well on your feet, and can problem-solve to translate a customer’s needs into features and functionality.  You drive yourself to perform at an excellent level, and are always thinking of ways to improve.  You thrive in efficient environments and seek to eliminate waste.  You are team-oriented and work well with others.  Importantly, you rocked kindergarten!

You are an organized, fast, and efficient executor with very strong integrity — you understand that solving the customer’s problem is more important than making a sale.  Experience with a solutions-focused sales approach such as Sandler is desired but not required.  Having both sales and consulting experience is a definite plus.

Pivvit’s SaaS platform is changing e-commerce and business automation.  Compared to other platforms, Pivvit enables customers to increase sales — usually by 40% or more.

Pivvit is led by experienced Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.  Prior to being an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company, our CEO worked as the first employee at Xtime, a Silicon Valley enterprise software company acquired for $300M.  Our CTO coded the real-time dispatch system for Uber and served as their de facto CTO until they grew to 400 employees.  Our advisory board comprises former executives from Google, Yahoo, AOL, early advisors to PayPal, eLance, Google, a former Venture Capitalist, and a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Stanford.

Pivvit is uniquely organized in small cross-functional teams giving our developers direct access to senior leaders and client champions with very little time lost in meetings or administrative red tape.  We use an agile development process that combines Lean operations, Kanban, and Lean Startup methodologies to push code to production daily while avoiding rework.

The Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a technology company that is poised to change e-commerce.  Applicants should have strong experience in either sales and/or consulting, and be willing to learn the other.  Pivvit Account Managers are responsible for selling to accounts in a large named territory (e.g., the Northeast).  You will work closely with senior leadership and receive support from executives when selling to large accounts.  Your responsibilities will also include prospecting, networking, and generating leads directly.

Account Managers at Pivvit oversee both the long-term sales relationship and key elements of the solution delivery.  Each Account Manager leads a cross-functional delivery team that includes product development, implementation, testing, and support for named accounts.  This unique organizational structure enables you to develop deep relationships with clients, and to have the resources to make those relationships successful.
